"Liked hotel, lovely old fashioned atmosphere and spacious rooms. Had to change room due to unacceptable lumpy mattress. New room mattress was better but still needed to be upgraded or replaced. This one issue spoiled what was otherwise an excellent hotel. "

"This is the third year we have stayed to celebrate an AGM. Frankly we were very disorganised re. Numbers. But the Pilgrim were amazing accommodating 40/45 people all very last minute, the food was totally amazing bearing in mind there were so many different variables for a three course meal coming of their table D’hote menu. All delivered in flustered and with smiles on faces. The kitchen staff must have been frantic but boy did they deliver. Thank you again and see you all on December 1st...

"Great little hotel, veey warm and welcoming, lits of steps to room which was fine for us, but for some a little challenged. Over all was a pleasent stay. Good continental breakfast. Easy check in and out."
