"Basic room but with all amenities you require. Breakfast was cooked to order and there were plenty of options. The restaurant meals were also good, cooked fresh and piping hot. A good view from the restaurant too! The staff were always very helpful and polite."

"It’s a lovely hotel - all the rooms are large and didn’t feel at all crowded, even in the bar which was quite busy in the evenings. Bedroom was very large and comfortable, with a nice en-suite shower room. A very good breakfast was provided with lots of choice. My only negative is that it is pretty expensive - although we stayed as a ‘treat’ at the end of a touring holiday in the Highlands and it was very nice! 😃"

"This would actually be a review of the Morangie Hotel in Tain. We were informed just a few weeks before our trip that they have repairs that needed to be done in the Mansfield hotel and that they transferred us to another hotel without an offer of a refund. The Morangie Hotel was a nice looking manor and had lovely stag head and Jacobite sword memerobilia. However shrouded in tacky halloween decorations and buckets laid about to catch leaks around the hotel. It wasn’t the stay we were expecting....
