"We had a good stay at the Campanile Wakefield, check in was easy and it was a nice clean room and bed, shower was good to, plus a nice cup of tea, just the ticket for a one night stay thanks David."

"Great hotel - a little dated and in need of some cosmetic improvements- but more than made up for by the lovely friendly and helpful staff and a well stocked bar plus decent breakfast. The location was perfect - we were able to leave the car in the car park and catch the bus outside the hotel to the centre of York and also to the designer shopping outlet "

"Location is good. Reception lady seems getting minimum wage, still doing her job with unwilling face. Twin room with window (no view at all) is SUPER small, without any table or bench to leave your belongings. Just two fixed hangers which didn’t help. Shower head is leaking a lot. You’ll need to borrow the hair dryer from the reception. To get into the floor you need to tap your room card, security level is good."

"Check in ok although there was some confusion as to whether or not we had booked breakfast. Did send an email regarding booking evening meal but never got a response. Staff friendly and helpful. Need more choice on menu "
