"The property has 2 buildings, one closer to the village centre and another one with direct access to the beach. We were lucky to be by the Gaia beach just opposite ours, which has a nicer swimming pool and a bar/restaurant, which is very good and part of the hotel management. The main restaurant is in the building close to the village centre and they do offer a very brief transfer between the two with an electric car at breakfast and dinner time. "A little too far from the town , approximately 20 mins walk on busy road. Transport needed really or reliant on expensive taxis."

"Conveniently located in downtown/port area. You can even walk to the beach nearby or took a short taxi ride to better beaches on the island if you're planning a longer stay for the day. Hotel is in good enough condition, good/typical breakfast; we were happy overall for the price. "

"Only here for 4 days, served its purpose. Had a swim up room facing the pool. Which was a god send as the pool area is very busy as you’d expect during school holiday. "Even I stay in this hotel in low season but still pretty noisy. Couple of guests still talking in the balcony at 2am. And , in the morning, children play ground is near so I can heard shouting and laughing before 8 am. "

"Good hotel for an overnight staying. Friendly staff, nice restaurant with decent food. Reception and restaurant area looks modern, but room is bit out dated. Good location, as it is walkable distance from Rhodes old town & Elli Beach. It can be noisy though as it is located in a busy road. "

"Such a lovely, family run hotel. So much more personal and quiet compared to the bigger, 4 & 5 star hotels. We were really glad we picked the Caravel. Huge room (apartment), great food and pool and just over the road from the sea. The owners were incredibly friendly, sorted out some last minute euros for us and booked probably the best taxi service we’ve ever had! All the good reviews were spot on. "
