"Very poor quality food, limited choices, poor housekeeping, in our 10 day stay, our sheets were changed once, the room was not cleaned at all. The pool dirty/cloudy and constantly full of bugs, and was generally in bad condition with broken lights, tiles (with sharp edges) and plagued with ants. Drinks were the usually cheap all inclusive type, and frequently some types were out of stock. Staff were generally friendly and pleasant though. Would not stay again."

Staff on reception during check-in were not very friendly and charged me for the room, even though I had paid by using my saved vouchers. This was rectified later in the day by the manager. There was no secure place to leave luggage and we were told that we could just put our bags outside the gym. Not ideal and didn't want to leave our belongings in such a public area. "Such a lovely, family run hotel. So much more personal and quiet compared to the bigger, 4 & 5 star hotels. We were really glad we picked the Caravel. Huge room (apartment), great food and pool and just over the road from the sea. The owners were incredibly friendly, sorted out some last minute euros for us and booked probably the best taxi service we’ve ever had! All the good reviews were spot on. "

"Good Greek hotel for what we needed. Overnight stay in Patmos to see Cave of the Apocalypse. Maps say walking distance but better option is taxi and the hotel can book it. Great pool. Continental breakfast good. Patmos is amazing!"
