"heb afgesproken met vrienden voor eten en drinken in Alkmaar en woon zelf ver weg. Dus 1 nacht verbleven. Dat is prima gegaan. Leuk is dat je nog duidelijk sporen ziet van de vorige bestemming van het gebouw. (Gevangenis) Alkmaar is trouwens ook wel een mooie stad om te bezoeken met traditionele panden en grachtjes."

"Loved the location! The windmills were directly across the water. The view was amazing. The room was extremely comfortable and it had a huge bathroom. Breakfast was included and was perfect for the morning. I loved how it came served on a tiered tray. This whole location is a must stay for anyone looking for a Netherlands experience. "In the center of Schagen everything is walkable. Only one hour by train to Amsterdam. Thursday is market day and is very entertaining The only thing that we didn’t like was the weather but the hotel was amazing. Ps. Nice breakfast buffet every morning "
