"Access to the mall is the only plus. Furnishings in the rooms are outdated and dirty. I never sat in a sofa before that has no back cushions to support you. No convenient electrical outlets to plug electronics or bedside medical devices like CPAP. Breakfast is same old average tasting buffet. No parking. "Parking is an issue here albeit it’s an issue for everyone. Easy enough to park at huge parking lot at bottom of hill . Rooms are spacious, beds a little soft . Linen’s are excellent as well as pillows. Walk in shower a big plus . Close to everything here . You can get close to Hotel via “Local” taxi . "

"Pros: Location and service staff attitude. Food quality is mostly good. Cons: cleanliness, outdated faucets and bathroom. Smelly bed. TV not working. A small issue but I was billed for a different dish than ordered. Entire hotel was plastered with posters to observe Covid appropriate behavior; it was even advertised that they take care of sanitization of the property but we found that indifferent attitude towards the pandemic throwing caution to winds. "First of all the property is not on road side, you have to climb down so many stairs to reach to the hotel. Rooms gates and windows are not properly sealed gusty chilly wind passes through slits that makes room super chilly and leaves your blanket and bed in freezing condition. On above that they charge 300 rupees extra per day to provide room heater. Super inconvenient."

The location of the hotel is fantastic. It’s in main Shimla. Few steps away from Oberoi Cecil. We took the room with valley view and really enjoyed the stay. I love the architecture of the property. The way it’s built is cute and impressive. "
