"Receptionist was excellent. The room had the smell of an old building so we opened the windows to air it out and then it was fine. A night stand was damaged so we informed the receptionist but overall we were comfortable. "

Additionally our check in person was extremely rushed and we were informed of various hotel amenities (Wi-Fi passcode, location of room besides floor number). We’re very seasoned travelers so are used to a bit more customer service. Not a deal breaker- just noticeable. "

"We had a wonderful wknd in Lenox. The Cornell Inn was very accommodating and everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had emailed beforehand about dietary restrictions and they were helpful and gave great recommendations for places that could accommodate us. Their breakfasts are excellent and filling. That starts your day off so nicely. The rooms were comfortable and roomy. Although the room was a bit dated -it was cozy and suited us perfectly. It was a great location...

"Last minute find. Room was tidy/no odors. The kitchen was complete and cute wood art made the place feel cozy. The spare roll away bed was delivered as requested, and surprisingly comfortable. Traveled with hubby and 9 year old between seasons to hit Bash Bish. Will stay here again to visit Naumkeag."
