"Nice little place at a good price as we were going to The Open at Troon. No services in the village but next village has a great food pub and hotel that does decent pub Faye. when we visited the hotel bar and restaurant was closed for refurb but they did do a good breakfast"

"This is by far the cleanest place we have ever stayed in, this guest house is immaculate. The host are absolutely brilliant and the service they offer is fantastic. Breakfast is on a different level, everything you could possibly want and the young lad serving us was so smartly dressed and so very polite. Anytime we are going to Ayr again we will definitely be looking to stay here "

"Wonderfull stay in a excellently converted former stable building behing the main house. Perfectly clean and cozy. Best for a solo traveler or couple used to a smaller room. Free parking in the courtyard and just a few minute walk to center of town. Owner was very friendly and offered travel tips."

"The tea towel for drying dishes was absolutely stinking of dampness, obviously wasn't clean! There was no kitchen roll so had to use one of the bath towels - it also had dirty marks on. The livingroom/sitting area was stinking of dogs. The plug-in air freshener was empty. Couldn't figure out how to use the grill."

"The hosts bent over backwards to personalise our stay, whilst respecting our privacy. From the homemade tablet, pancakes and artwork to the birthday balloons and beers, we had a lovely break. The cabin has everything you need, and the hot tub is fantastic to soak in under the stars. We just wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more. "Two nights with little sleep - the main culprits being the polyester sheets on the bed and the constant clicking from the radiator. Not a restful break at all. It has a pleasant enough setting, albeit up a rutted farm track, and would probably be more fun in summer, but is not really suited for dark and cold winter nights."
