"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was nice, except the windows were the type that don't open. Had to run the noisy HVAC to get any air. Breakfast food was just okay but better than some other included breakfasts offered by similarly priced hotels."

"Very comfortable and well cared for. Spiral staircase to large upstairs bedroom. Wood floors shining. Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. Only negative was limited silverware and a sauce pan would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay. No tv or internet but I used...

"The property is being rebuilt as a very nice motel. The room was fantastic. I felt safe sleeping there. I wish the outside had more lighting to make it easier to find from the street"
