"We had a very nice stay , and we were upgraded to executive room which was lovely , unfortunately it looked out onto the main road which was being dug up and majorly overhauled and the noise from machinery until they stopped was rather loud . It restarted at 8am but luckily we were just waking up anyway . The staff were very helpful and helped us find parking as road disrupted and breakfast was very nice . "This hotel is in an old priory near the summit of the hill with the magnificent Chartres Cathedral. Desk was helpful with parking info, and how to exit the restricted area before dawn, so we didn't have to tackle the steep hill after the snow started."
