"I came in December, which is their low season, so I was basically one of the very few people staying at the hotel. The receptionist was only around for the check-in. The cleaning staff only showed up once. "A brilliant construction and location in the stunning gorge location. Lovely room and large patio to enjoy breakfast alongside the roaring river. Parking was manageable at the roadside, and the lift ideal between floors. "It’s a good hotel, close to the centre, beach and the restaurants. The room we had was in the basement so nice and cool for summer stay but at the same time with very bad or no wifi signal. There is also a swimming pool available but we haven’t used it. If you’re heading for the beach you’ll need a parasol!! The local area is small but pretty. We have mainly stayed there for the boat ride to Scandola natural reserve which was mind blowing."

"I stayed at this hotel in the beginning of June. The room was ok but breakfast was very basic and the bar and restaurant were not open at all during our stay. Since the rooms had no facilities for making food this meant we had to go out for all meals. I'm not sure if this changes when the summer season starts (in July?) but it should be mentioned since we expected the facilities listed on hotels.com to be available to us."

"The shower has nothing where to hang the hose, so you have to hold the hose with one hand and try to use the soap with your free hand. I am not used to this torture. No curtains or contaiiner for the water so all the bathroom gets wet. Bad mood of the manager, impolite at worse."
