"We spent a long weekend at the Passage House Hotel. We stayed in a deluxe double room with balcony on the top floor room, which is a must. The room and facilities were fantastic. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Big shout out to Beth who was so helpful to us with any questions we had. Definitely going to stay there again. Mark from Southampton"

"A good restful stay. Really good location - walk down hill and get a taxi back up. Parking a slight issue but not a deal breaker. Rooms need updating but it is a standard seaside hotel. Best part of this hotel is the views - they are top notch. "

"The biggest plus about this property is the staff: they were wonderful, both at check-in and at check-out. The lobby area is large and inviting, and well-lit. Rather than having on-site parking, the property chose to turn the hotel forecourt into outdoor seating with picnic tables. While sitting outside might be nice in the wamer summer months, not having on-site parking is a negative: the hotel sits on a residential street, so street parking nearby is at a premium. "Hotel was well decorated in the main areas - looking fairly newly redone. The service was good. The only issue is the quality of the breakfast buffet is terrible - i mean really terrible. We arrived at breakfast around 9.30 - the eggs were like rubber, sausages the cheapest you can buy, bacon like rubber, instant coffee only. The toast was the highlight, which speaks volumes. Otherwise a great stay."
