Check in for me was a bit of a mess due to a long delayed flight however that did not stop the owner Mr. Étienne from being so welcoming to me even at 1:30Am when I had an earlier ETA. "We had a great stay at Hotel La Omaja! The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a beautiful view of the lake and the volcanoes. The rooms were lovely with AC, fans and hot water. It was a little difficult to access as the final stretch is all dirt roads and the driveway is very steep. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!"
