Would highly recommend to stay there as more than reasonable and near the Lakes and The Dales .. will definitely return… thank you guys "

"We had the most wonderful night’s stay at The Gateway Inn - friendly smiley staff, superb drinks selection, delicious dinner (lamb henry and sea bass), comfy bed, sparkly clean bathroom, delicious breakfast (we had the most amazing eggs benedict with perfectly-poached eggs, plus the cereal, yogurt, fruit, granola, nuts and seeds, high-quality jam, toast, cheese, Nutella, tea and coffee….all for £8.95!). We couldn’t have asked for more for a rare getaway as parents of a tween and a teen. Thank you - highly recommend this place! "

"We stayed here cycling the C2C; they couldn’t have been more helpful to store the bikes even though they didn’t have much room. The water pressure in the shower is amazing. Nice pub."
