"This is a good value base for walking and climbing with single rooms. It was easy to keep the rooms cool which `I liked. Good parking on site provided you are not last to arrive. It could do with having the parking bays painted again to enforce better parking discipline! "

"My husband I stayed here overnight. It was a nice quiet stay with a pretty view of the loch. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has charm, but could use a few updates particularly in regard to the bathroom. We also weren’t able to successfully lock our door when we left the room. The restaurant was tasty, but on the pricey side. There aren’t any other options nearby. "

"Tremendous building in a stunning park setting by the water. Wonderful staff and excellent breakfast. We spent several hours in their salon reading and looking out over the gorgeous scenery. Highly recommend this hotel. "

"I have been traveling for many years, and I don't think I've ever been as comfortable in a hotel room before. Everything was clean, comfortable, quiet and I felt very safe. Traveling with my family is not easy in Scotland, this was fantastic. We had a full bed and two twin bunks. No cots or rollouts. Local meals were amazing. And the canal was super cool. Highly recommended. "

"James welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our room. He gave us a run down of where to get dinner then stayed for a lovely chat. It felt like catching up with an old friend! Tirindrish House is such a beautiful quiet spot my only regret is not staying longer. Would definitely stay here again - for longer! "
