"We had a very nice stay , and we were upgraded to executive room which was lovely , unfortunately it looked out onto the main road which was being dug up and majorly overhauled and the noise from machinery until they stopped was rather loud . It restarted at 8am but luckily we were just waking up anyway . The staff were very helpful and helped us find parking as road disrupted and breakfast was very nice . "The meal choice was very limited but in December with only one other couple staying at the hotel this was hardly surprising. Communal areas and the bedroom need decorating and updating but the room was warm, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. At the end of the day you get what you pay for and in that respect it was "value for money""

"We arrived at 3:30pm but couldn’t get into the hotel until 5pm, as the hotel was closed until then. The room was good but no tea / coffee in the room. The reception was very helpful and friendly, but it would have been good to have the menu in English as well as French, as my wife ordered her meal without knowing it included scallops as there was no mention of this on the menu and scallops don’t agree with her, otherwise the meal was very good, as was breakfast."
