"We were there for a 2 night stay at the end of August. The hotel is very well taken care of & it is in a quiet lovely location. It’s beautiful inside too. Rooms are cozy, clean , quiet, & decorated very nicely. The food & service in dining room is amazing! The free breakfast is plentiful, delicious, & fresh. It is a nice touch. "

"The setup is very good; the surrounding area, beaches, and Hermit's Castle are why we booked here for two nights. Unfortunately, the builders opposite decided to start work with a digger and heavy roller before 8 a.m., so our stay wasn't exactly peaceful. This was not the owner's fault, I should add. The pod was large and comfortable, but it really needs Starlink, as we couldn't use the internet on our phones. Some might find this acceptable, but others might not. Not being able to watch TV...

"Pleasant stay, room was comfortable with views over the Loch and had a small balcony. Was separate from the main hotel but the walk not very far and umbrellas provided in case of rain. Dinner was lovely, Michelen Star quality. We saw seals catching fish in the Loch from the view from the dinner table."
