"Upon arrival there was a lot of leaves and some litter at the entrance and throughout the 2 days stay it was not swept or cleaned. The hotel itself was nice, a little outdated in parts but the room was clean and warm which was good as it was minus 1 outside. The breakfasts were good with plenty of choice, and a vegetarian option, not sure if there was any other alternatives such as vegan. Service was good and prompt with not long to wait for your food. "We have used this hotel a few times and always been very pleased with it. However this time, the room we were allocated was far too close to reception and main area. (I did request quiet room away from traffic but didn’t anticipate being disturbed by other noises). We were hearing the staff chatting, laughing etc early morning and the swing doors nearby were really annoying as they were used regularly and were quite noisy and late in evening and early morning was obviously more noticeable and...
