The issue is it's location from the city centre, especially given the poor weather (I appreciate this isn't their fault obvs).. "Whilst the weather may have been awful the hotel wasn’t. In fact San Fermin was perfect. Great room which looked like it had been refurbished. Big balcony facing the sea. Great walk in shower. Food options surprised me for a 3 star hotel. More than enough choice and quality for anyone. Each night was a themed night at the restaurant. Hotel is up a steepish walk but it’s literally a 5 minute walk to the main road and another 5 minutes to the beach."

"It’s a fantastic hotel and very well maintained. The price is very reasonable. The lifts are so fast 11 floors up in no time. They let us book in well early (11 o’clock) as the room was ready which was excellent service as we only went to put our bags in!! The reception man went over and above to make us feel welcome. The food is plentiful and lots of choice you wouldn’t go hungry that’s for sure and it’s a fantastic 8 till 1:30 time slot, and to top it off you can have a early breakfast and go...

"Nicely renovated hotel - lobby area and rooms. Toilet and bathrooms ensuite are still old, but OK. Except that the shower leaks after each shower. They have tried to use silicon to fix it but failed. Air conditioning unit in the room is also not working. But being cooler weather, it was fine. Reception staff and housekeeping staff are very friendly and warm. Close to both the train and bus stations. Very convenient to walk across and also to the city centre & port area. "
