"The building here is a bit old, and you can see the wear and tear in the space, but that just makes it interesting. This is a great, central, inexpensive space to stay when you see Jaffna. There's a restaurant below- a big cafeteria style front and a slightly hidden secret courtyard in back which is a beautiful place to spend an evening. "The property looks like a makeshift building. Windows were covered with wooden panels, spiderwebs filled up spaces where the sunlight didn't reach, the bathroom was not clean and the mirror was bathed in calc. There's no reception to leave your bags. The chairs in the eating area are rusty and dirty."
