"The meal choice was very limited but in December with only one other couple staying at the hotel this was hardly surprising. Communal areas and the bedroom need decorating and updating but the room was warm, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. At the end of the day you get what you pay for and in that respect it was "value for money""

"Hotel très austère (très sombre, bordélique...) Après pas mal d'attente, l'accueil est glacial! Je traverse le restaurant lumière éteinte, pas de personnel ni client (bref je pars manger en ville) alors qu'il est ouvert depuis trente minutes Salle de petit dejeuner : lumière éteinte, buffet misérable avec juste quelques baguettes (je repars de nouveau pour manger à l'exterieur) Accès entre l'accueil et les chambres fermés le soir m'obligeant le matin a passer par l'exterieur pour le dejeuner......

"Hotel is excellent; has off road parking and two large sitting areas, one interior and one exterior. Owners were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us; very friendly. Sadly, there was only one other person there and this was in the middle of August. We just loved the multi coloured rooms: very different and refreshing. "The château itself is a beautiful building. The room we were in, a comfort room, was perfectly fine. Bed was comfy and wide. Breakfast was OK, lovely fresh croissants, but expensive for what it was. "

"Wifi didn't work in our room. 14 oC this morning, but no heating available. Meal very disappointing. 3 /5 lights didn't work in bedroom. It was tired and needed TLC to improve it. Arrival time was 3 pm, but no one around at 3.30. Then reception closed again until 5 pm, so no help available. We won't be back. "
