"Jess and Mark were remarkable hosts. They offered us snorkel equipment, chairs and a cooler to bring to the beach which made things so easy. The property is just a short walk to downtown to restaurants and shopping. Currently there is construction going on behind the hotel but it really wasn't bothersome. Breakfast was served restaurant style, a varied menu daily and delicious. The hotel itself is rustic, intimate, island style and very comfortable. There are several steps to get in and out of the property but that is typical being on a steep hill. Definitely recommend. "

"I’d read beforehand this place had character and boy does it! It is anything but a cookie-cutter franchise hotel. Not only is it nestled into the heart of Charlotte-Amalie, but its floor-plan is as varied and meandering as the winding streets of the neighborhood in which it resides. Beware that the road it’s on is one-way, and that the direction changes for a couple hours in the early evening; Google can’t be trusted to catch that nuance. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. It made for a very memorable stay and my wife and I loved it."

"Besides the phenomenal view from our balcony, we enjoyed the spacious 1-bedroom suite equipped with a sofa bed and kitchenette. The room and view exceeded our expectations. The staff were also very helpful. The walk downtown was only 10-min although the hill was very steep and requires one to be physically fit. We actually enjoyed the workout. We wanted to be near downtown but the trade off was that we needed to travel to the beach. "

"The Pink Palm provides its guests with an attractive hotel in the center of Charlotte Amalie, which makes it possible for guests to walk round town and avoid taxis. Each room is unique in its design. Many have lovely views of the harbor, as do the many patios. Equally important, maybe more important, the staff goes above-and-beyond. Anything we wanted appeared quickly and was presented enthusiastically. "
