"This property is magical. It's exactly as pictured. If you want to get away from it all this is your place. The staff couldn't be more gracious. One thing to note: No real beach here. you can swim in the water but no sand. luckily a water taxi makes a beach a ride away. Make sure to bring snacks and/or cash as there is no where nearby to get either. Five stars otherwise"

"This is an elegantly designed brand new hotel which is well laid out and convenient to the center of Puerto Viejo. We enjoyed our stay but were shocked that the hotel did not provide drinking water to its guests. When we checked in we were told the faucet water was not drinkable so we would need to buy water bottles to fill at a water filtration center in the restaurant.
