"The hotel was very spacious, close to the resort cafe and reception and within walking distance to the riverbed and sanctuary. It had good amenities with a large outdoor shower with shower gel/ shampoo and toilet paper. In the bed room there was bottled water and kettle for teas or coffees, homemade mosquito repellent and soap bar, there was also a hair dryer and a mosquito net which was an extra bonus. "We booked this property based on the pictures of the pool. Turns out the pool was bone dry and even have a tree trunk at the bottom of the pool!Totally misrepresented what’s real at this property! Very run down, trees bushes haven’t been maintained for years, I understand past 2years with covid, tourism took a huge hit but I didn’t understand why Expedia still allowed this type of property on your site! "Nice peaceful grounds to walk around for a prayer retreat for us. But for most if not a golfer there would not be much to do. Golf fees were quite high for us--so we didn't golf. Swimming pool small. Rooms were good but bed quite hard--we heard later we could request some duvets to make it better. Hotel is just 20 minutes from Doi Inthanon park. Staff drive you to your room in golf carts."

"I really love everything about the Herntai. We arrived late because we got lost on the way there. Warning - when GPS to Herntai, remember to make sure it is the right Herntai, as there is another destination called Herntai farm which is 100 km away. The manager was super friendly. I called in advance to let him know about late check in at 9pm, as they close the front desk at 7pm, and he ordered some food for us that were ready upon arrival. "We were pleasantly surprised! The cabins were really cute, windows all around to see the rice paddies. We took a dip in the pool too which was great. Each cabin seems to be facing the centre of the properties with a noce view. Its so quiet and lots of nature sounds in the evening. Surprisingly no mosquitos! It seemed we were the only guests on a 30 cabin property! The property has a restaurant but it seems you have to find the staff and tell them when youll want to eat and they will be there to prep for you. Theres a convenience store close by (you pass it to get there) and its everything you need. "
