"The rooms have been remodeled nicely, the bed was outstanding, so comfortable! The attached bar/restaurant Encore, was also great. Beautiful in the inside and love all the patriotic decor, more places need to follow suit! Owners were great people also. Can’t wait to visit when it’s warmer to enjoy the swim up pool next time!"

"The room and public areas were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was tasteless and cold. Restaurant opened at 7am on Sunday as stated on door entrance...but large poster in hotel lobby states 6am. When fact was mentioned to staff they answered, "yes, it needs to be updated." We had paid for 2 breakfast meals expecting the 6am opening. As a result my husband had to miss his meal as he had to leave for an early meeting. Disappointing. "

"We booked a stay a couple days out, and expected a standard room. This hotel is right next to the interstate, and our room was on the corner of the building next to the interstate. The wind blowing that night seeped through the windows and whistled. I double checked that they were closed tightly and they were. The highway noise inside of the room was so loud that my wife and had to wait for a break in traffic to talk, and we were 3 feet apart. Otherwise we couldnt hear. I got about 2...

"Room 241. I had to turn the thermostat up to 80 just to get the room up to 74.The toilet was loose on the floor. The toilet flush valve keep sticking in the off position so the bowl would not fill up. "

"This is a classic old school resort. Very clean right on the lake. Dated. Think Dirty Dancing resort vibes. Very nice for what it's intended to be. Well done!"

"Hotel was clean and felt recently renovated. But restaurants were not open, parking was weird. And bed was very uncomfortable. May have enjoyed the hotel more if the outdoor pool was open, but it was early spring in Missouri, so that isn't favorable. "
