"Had a lovely 1 night stay at this historic hotel. The interiors are dated but that is part of the charm. The staff were so helpful and friendly, we had an upgrade on our room because hotels.com had overbooked and the staff were very good about it. The room and bed were comfortable, but the kettle was a bit rubbish and not convenient to use (it was connected to the plug which was behind the television) The breakfast was pretty average, not the best but you had enough options. "Lovely friendly experience, we were made to feel very welcome. Room was spacious, beds were ok, room was a bit dated overall. Grab and go breakfast was adequate and easy to get to, with fresh milk and a microwave if needed. Bar was nice and cosy and closes at 9pm."

"The staff went out of their way to get a downstairs room ready for my parents who couldn't manage the stairs. The hotel was conveniently situated. Plenty of parking. The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. All round very satisfied."

"The Hut Sea Front Inn has a very convenient location. It is close to the Ferry Terminal and a short walk to Newry Beach as well as the Maritime Museum. There are also a number of good restaurants nearby. The Rueben makes a fabulous Reuben bagel & very good coffee. If you do take-out the Sea Hut has a common lounge area, complete with dishware, that opens at 6 pm. The common lounge is very nicely set up as a relaxing place where people can eat or sit & read. There are plenty of books to choose...

Just orange juice (out of date) and milk in fridge. Had a little difficulty locating property. Rang mobile number in conformation email for assistance but got no reply. Had to locate key in key safe to let myself in. Garden Room very small. Would not stay there again"

Great hotel for a weekend stay

"Lovely hotel for a weekend away. Great location in Menai Bridge, with activities and restaurants easily walkable. Breakfast was lovely, the rooms were stylish and comfortable and the service was friendly. It was my second time staying here and I would definitely stay again. "

The Slate Hote

"From the start Staff were very friendly rooms are clean and well appointed. The food menu choice was excellent to the point it was difficult to choose a dish. The food was well cooked and presented with a decent portion for a change. The fact that so many locals were eating there showed their reputation for good food was well known On the whole great value and I hope I will get a chance to stay again"
