"The Mount Royal is our go to spot in Banff! Rooms are great, hotel is clean and never too busy. Love the new renovations! We love the lounge area in the lobby and the rooftop spot as well with the hot tub. The restaurant is also great and has happy hour in the afternoon. We’ve stayed here a few times and our least comfortable stay was on Halloween night. There were lots of people out on Banff Ave and they were very loud, it made it hard to sleep. I know they couldn’t do anything about it, but...

"Stayed here for 3 nights, very clean and friendly staff. No room service is provided, will have to ask front desk for things but that was okay with us. Not the quietest place as the train passes right behind the hotel day and night!"

"We really liked the property and the spacious living kitchen area, even in the standard queen room. The trains passing through are noisy, but this problem exists for any accommodation near the tracks. We would stay here again, but would request a room on the east side."

"It’s been decades since I stayed at the Banff Aspen. We were very happy that we booked there by recommendation from family. I’m not sure when they renovated but it was super clean with a high end ambiance. Cosy and modern. Delicious breaky every morning and amazing coffee! Hot tub/saunas were great after a day of snowboarding/skiiig! We’ll definitely stay there again!"

"Nice place but when we stay there the pool is close although they give us an option to the other one that they also own and 1 of them is just beside them.. could be better if they just free the parking during lean season cause basically few cars in there.. "

"Cute cozy rooms with warm lighting. We had access to the hot pools of their sister hotel, which was amazing! Right behind Route 1 bus stop, and they gave us complementary bus tickets for the duration of our stay. We had an excellent stay. :) "
