"Great hotel and very friendly staff. The outside pool is cold. Reception staff went above and beyond. We arrived at 1 in the morning and still got checked in after calling the out of hours number. Check in only took 5 mins. Walking distance to the beach although there are no pavements so you need to walk on the road. "

"Great place to stay. Very close to center of Vila Real de Santo Antonio. Very close to bars, cafes, restaurants, buses, small walk to the train station and bigger supermarkers. 10/15 minutes. "The staff were delightful. The breakfast was fresh, appetising and varied. There was a very relaxed atmosphere generally. We particularly liked the grounds and the views of the mountains. You could walk to the nearby town of Tavira(2km) but it wasn't a pleasant walk so we took the car - this was the only downside for us as we like walking"

"We got the cheap studio with the sofa beds that dont have such great reviews. However, we turned them around and put them together to make a big bed. They were quite comfortable and the sheets and pillows were good quality. Very satisfied. The only issue was that there was no dish soap in the kitchen. The balcony had great views of the village and the beach. We were facing west, and had a lovely sunset. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the restaurant called Bellmonte next...
