"My husband and I spent five wonderful days at Il Giardino del Rio and enjoyed every moment. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for short walks through Castel di Sangro, or for drives through the gorgeous Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo and its scenic towns. The best thing about the inn, however? Proprietors Davide and Enzo, and Adnan. Each one made us feel like family. We already miss them!"

"Struttura un po' datata con camere anguste e poco confortevoli ma questa piccola pecca viene ampiamente colmata dall'ottima accoglienza dei proprietari dal buon servizio dei camerieri giovani ed educati e dall'ottima cucina espressa con menu sempre vari e appetitosi. "Hotel Don Luis closed for the season 30 September. We were moved to a sister property, Hotel Sport Village, for our reservation 1 and 2 October. Sport Village is in the outskirts of Castel di Sangro, just a short distance from Hotel Don Luis. The hotel is modern, with a pool, spa and nice grounds.
