"Davide is the BEST host, and 6 Stelle is a wonderful, spotless, gorgeous, lovely place to sleep, eat an excellent breakfast, and explore sweet Sulmona. You’re basically sleeping in history right there by the arches. Davide has great recommendations and speaks excellent English. He’s so friendly and cool. The shower, by the way, is great! Stay here!"

"Our two-night stay in Sulmona could not have been better. This six-room hotel, run by two brothers, is modern, clean, convenient to the center, and comfortable (great bed). Breakfast will fit any diet. Heat is more than ample. We asked them to recommend a driver to could take us into the mountains for c. 4 hours, and one of the brothers volunteered for a very fair price. Recommended without qualification."

"A truly inspiring gem that we are so thankful that we found. Rarely does an accommodation exceed expectations by unlimited amounts, this certainly did. The staff, or friends as we now refer to them were amazing. Everything had to be just right and if it wasn’t they made sure it was. "Lovely Abruzzo location overlooking Bomba. The room is private and quiet and a nice self-service kitchen. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. The features are basic but in very good condition and clean. Navigation should be during daylight and from Bomba and Zingaro. Pennadomo is a longer drive and road conditions variable. Warm in August but cools enough at night to sleep. "
