"Nice hotel. Room very clean, very basic furniture. Very small room and bathroom but ok for one night stay on my own. Not sure it’s big enough for a couple with suitcases as nowhere to put them at all. Literally a walkway round the bed but no extra room front or sides. "

"The hotel is ok but the pub/restaurant next door was disgusting. I was going to take a picture from behind the toilet door but it would make someone ill."

"Lovely stay as always, but the new electronic system needs looking at, paying for your food before it arrives at your table isn't the best way to go, especially if the food turns out to not be right. Also the doors in the public areas need a good wash down and painting, breeding ground for germs"

"Quiet and comfy bed"

"Such a beautiful property! Staff was so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was perfect (for a low cost) and the dinner was delicious, I got the Guinness pie. Rooms were a little small but just right for me and my daughter. We went in the winter time so we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful grounds. Highly recommend. "

"Lovely hotel , easy and welcome check in , room was lovely and cosy looking . Little activity packs on the bed for the children . Which was a lovely touch . Things that could have been better - toilet seat was broken , the plug for the bath was broken (however this was replaced straight away when my husband went down to say) the hair dryer wasn’t great and made a screeching noise when used on high setting … but was quite late on after being at Lapland Uk , so didn’t want to go down and report...

"There is a stale smell in the bathroom, could be just the drains, the door lock is temperamental and the room could do with a Mirror. Other than that I would have given 5 stars for everything. :)"

"So much good about this hotel but a few things they could improve on. Reception staff helpful & informative. Double rooms are very small but adequate. Would be a bit of a squeeze with two people in. All very clean, warm & a modern bathroom. Great shower & comfy bed. I could hear the person & bathroom a bit next door. Good parking. Lots of light & CCTV covering. Bar food was just ok. Breakfast was good in general with enough choice, however, the morning staff clearly need to set their alarms a...
