"Loved our stay at the hotel. Service was excellent. Clean, modern room. It is within walking distance to restaurants and the Old Town. Convenient parking. We had a GPS in the car to help find the hotel. Not easy to find street names. Check in and out is not at the hotel so make sure you are able to call Avora management at their number. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend. 😊"

"We had an amazing stay at the Residence Porta Antica! We called the hotel when we were unsure with parking and Claudia came in her cart to show us where to park and then drive us to the hotel! She was such a pleasure and so friendly! She gave us a warm welcome and recommended several restaurants, as well as ice cream places! "Mixed.At all times remind yourself that this is a 3* hotel! When you squint your eyes, the setting fools you into thinking you're at a far fancier establishment. This messes with your expectations. Positive first- The island is beautiful. The views are spectacular. Breakfast is good. Boat to Rovinj is regular and on time. Negative - 1. Accessibility is poor. Lift doesn't stop at the lobby. 2. Rooms are large and clean - but old. Peeling paint, broken fittings and 1980's furnishings all show...

"Quite far away from Centre. Room clean, bed comfortable. Had Balcony, which was nice. Note: Plug-Ins in Bathroom are so high up that i had to climb on toilett to reach them ! Very unsafe ! Carpet on stairs is loose and catches your shoe... also very unsafe ! Breakfast Buffet was just ... ok. Hotel really needs updated. In summary - stay was ok, but wouldnt go back. "

"Apartment terrible. Shower wasn't cleaned properly for ages. Bathroom door had water damage. Tv rather than stay in the bedroom it was in the tiny kitchen. We can barely move in there No wifi service on the room just public areas. Our on internet didn't work there. Our kid couldn't lay down to watch tv in bed because the tv is in the kitchen wall. Principal door handle doesn't work properly. Spider web around the apartment. Damaged walls ... We took pictures to share. Air-conditioner not...

"We had a fabulous stay here in late September and were really happy, overall, especially for the price. Grocery store nearby, easy walking distance to the Arena and Old Town. Jelena, the host, was fantastic. Very kind and accommodating with a different, local breakfast each morning. Really appreciated the clothes washing machine in the room. AC worked well. Parking not as easy as I hoped but we got it done. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"Super nice location and good condition. Parking was a bit of a convoluted experience, and showing up 50 minutes too early for check in earned me a "go away" attitude. Aside from that, all was great. Probably a better place to visit on the high season though - Vrsar gets a bit empty when it's cold out."
