"Lovely people and charming place. Could help self to vegetables in the garden or even the eggs from the chickens for breakfast which was a hit with the kids. Only drawback was that it was a bit of a squash, we should have booked a third room. The rooms are called “two bedroom” but they are actually one bedroom suites with a single sofa bed in the living room so not really suitable for three adults. This is in the small print of the room description so our fault for not reading closely but I...

"Our luxury room ( with mountain view) was absolutely charming, spacious and super clean. The room was newly renovated, tastefully furnished and thoughtfully outfitted with everything that could be required. The mountain view from the expansive windows and patio door was stunning and the outdoor seating area on the balcony looking at the same view was a definite plus. The only downsides were a slightly firm mattress and a bit of road noise. Otherwise it was a nearly perfect stay."

"Feel the nature! The river, the birds, the frogs - and the milky way. It's one of the darkest places around, so enjoy the view. Also the property itself is very lovely, clean with enough space. You will get 5l of water for cooking, a very good wifi und tv connection (you won't need them). Great place to enjoy some quiet days - the way via gravel roads and perhaps ferry: it's worth! "

"Mariana is the most wonderful host. She couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable even to booking restaurants for us and ensuring we had a good table. The guest house is furnished in an old fashioned style which suits the house. Our room was extremely spacious as was the bathroom. Outside a large terrace was well furnished and overlooked the beautiful garden and over to the mountains. Walkable to town and restaurants."

"We had a nice relaxing stay at the cottage. Good location close to good restaurants and museums. It was home from home, somewhere to relax for a couple of nights. One night we ate in the next we went out. In a nice quiet street with private parking and gardens. Would definitely stay there again. The owners looked after us very well."
