"This hotel was very dirty. Had mold coming out of air conditioning vent. I got sick while staying here. DO NOT RECOMMEND. "

"The room is very clean and the staffs are very friendly. The surrounding area are very quiet. We will come back to stay when we travel again to 嘉義。"

"We stayed in two hotels in Chiayi and this one was much better in terms of cleanliness and service. Would recommend. The room included water bottles, towels, shampoo etc. The breakfast was good, there was only one option for the hot breakfast but toast (with various spreads: peanut butter, chocolate, butter etc.) was also available and tea/coffee. "

"停車沒人引導，但有指示牌，所以還算OK。房間還不錯，乾凈安靜，冷氣風量不錯，浴室水壓有點弱。房間樓層沒飲水機，房間有附快煮壺，所以熱水只能靠快煮壺，但快煮壺怕不乾凈，所以煮了很多次，才敢給小朋友泡奶。早餐都中式，但樣式偏少，且沒小孩愛吃的還餐點，所以早餐只適合大人或團客。"

"A business orientated hotel that offered a very comfortable room with lovely staff who were very helpful and friendly. Has pushbike hire (free) which was great to explore the area. Highly recommend a stay here"

"The motel is good for the price. The staffs were amazing. Entry to the motel is carefully guarded. But it is farther out from all the restaurants in the city central which would be around 25 min of walking distance. There is a family mart about 5 minutes of walk. It is very difficult to get an Uber or yellow taxi in front of the hotel. Unless you have local 55688 taxi app and even that is a bit difficult during downtime. Overall the motel is ok. Needs updating. But the owner is working on...

"Although English was not their strongest language, these sweet people went way out of their way to help me check in. And the buffet breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I ever had, and I've traveled extensively."

"Decent hotel"

"The room is not very well maintained and floor is stained with marks when we check in to stay for one night. The location is quite convenient and walkable distance to the train station. We wanted to stay near as we are heading over to Alishan via train or car the next day. I will not recommend to stay here if you are staying for longer days. There are food streets nearby you can try for old school food."

"Hotel is a bit dated but in a great location. You can't be any closer to the night market and there are lots of great food options. We stayed several nights with Chiayi as a base. It was very quiet until someone checked into the room above us. On that night, it was clear that the soundproofing is non-existent. A bit tricky for light sleepers."

"The breakfast at guanko is especially good. The western set breakfast has really good fried chicken."
