"A very nice and convenient option at the airport for a long layover. "

"Our room was smaller than a closet but fits our budget and was very functional. The entire place was clean with lots of space to lounge. Front desk staff were very helpful. The bed was single (European size) and the sheets and towels were clean. Bring wall adaptor coz U.S. plugs will not work here. There's luggage storage and a laundry room complete with folding table and ironing supplies. This was a totally welcome surprise. The property is a 5 minute walking distance to the mall (Fisketorvet)...

"The hotel was perfect for my 14 hour layover. It’s only two metro stops from the airport. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly. If you’re a light sleeper you may want to request a room on the other side of the building, away from the train tracks. I didn’t ask since I arrived so late, but I was still able to sleep comfortably."

"Great hotel, at the beautiful city center near Metro. Staff did a superb job at directing me to the nearby 1733 Danish food restaurant, a delicious eatery, and made a reservation for me, which was fantastic as it was my first time in Copenhagen. Next morning the day shift staff explained how to catch the Metro to the airport, which proved faster than the taxi I took the day before from the airport to the hotel at a fraction of the cost. Bravo! I highly recommend the Strand Hotel!"

"Amazing hotel, right opposite the train and metro stations. Excellent location for getting around. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our side of the hotel looked directly onto the train platform, the noise of the trains was manageable and didnt bother us at all. Lots of train references throughout the hotel which was a quirky touch. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely consuder staying here again Thank you so much ❤️ "

"Nice hotel well located to transport to Copenhagen central. Cleaning of the room was average and facilities could be better for example no mini fridge, or phone to call reception if needed. Restaurant was overpriced but overall clean and new hotel. Well prices. "

"We had a wonderful 2 night stay in a twin room. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary hot drinks and fruit in reception. The hotel is very well located for Central Station and Tivoli. We would highly recommend and definitely return."

"Check in was efficient the receptionist on duty upon our arrival was most helpful even getting us some more pillows and a kettle for the room. Comfortable stay for a two night trip. It is about a 45 minute walk from the airport so would recommend a bus or taxi. Bus is cheaper, taxi is expensive for a short trip to airport. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from nearest train terminal and metro link. "

One particular gentleman " Pétus Tasfi ' stood out—his professionalism, kindness, and knowledge were unmatched. He truly made us feel at home. The breakfast was a highlight of my visit. The open buffet offered an impressive variety of fresh, high-quality dishes, from warm pastries to delicious local delicacies. Every bite was a treat, and it was clear the team takes pride in delivering an exceptional dining experience.
