"Close to motorway with plenty of parking, staff were friendly and personable, rooms were clean, accommodating and had black out curtains as well an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, tea coffee, etc., bed was large and comfortable, there was good air con and heating, bathroom had all the essentials in Dove which was a pleasant surprise, buffet breakfast was adequate. Overall l would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again."

"Very good, excellent value with 3 course evening meat and breakfast included which were both very good. Sensible £10 charge for the dog which is much better than other Holiday Inns. There are a lot of building works next to the hotel, but no noise in the evening and didn’t start early in the morning. "

"The front entrance and bar area looks stunning, clean, tidy and modern. Our room not to much. Carpet was tatty and torn leaving the carpet gripper exposed which i caught my foot on. Bathroom was a little dated, and furniture is mismatched and some of it was plastic Superking bed was just 2 beds put together Room just didnt seem to match the look of the main area."

"Have stayed at this hotel at least 6 times over last few years in various rooms and price ranges. Each time the hotel and rooms were clean and tidy, good service, food and bar - our only concern what’s been the beds - uncomfortable, double beds not wide enough. Have never had a good nights sleep in any of them. Shame, as it is the only thing that lets the hotel down."
