"heb afgesproken met vrienden voor eten en drinken in Alkmaar en woon zelf ver weg. Dus 1 nacht verbleven. Dat is prima gegaan. Leuk is dat je nog duidelijk sporen ziet van de vorige bestemming van het gebouw. (Gevangenis) Alkmaar is trouwens ook wel een mooie stad om te bezoeken met traditionele panden en grachtjes."

"Loved the location! The windmills were directly across the water. The view was amazing. The room was extremely comfortable and it had a huge bathroom. Breakfast was included and was perfect for the morning. I loved how it came served on a tiered tray. This whole location is a must stay for anyone looking for a Netherlands experience. "Everything was great. The room, the location, and the easy access to renting the bikes. Only downfall was receiving only 1 roll of toilet paper for 1 week for 4 people. As well as the walk from the hotel to the train station was about 20 minutes of a walk and in the night there’s no lights besides your phone lights. "
