"Great little hotel about 15 min away from MXP. Stayed in a 5-bed room on the top floor. 1 double bed and single when you enter the room and another 2 single beds in a room with a door. Small shower, especially if you're of a larger build. Low ceilings in some areas because the roof is sloped (watch your head!). Totally worth the cost for a simple hotel with a free airport shuttle (5am was the earliest departure) and yummy, affordable restaurant (pizza/pastas/etc)."

"Great value hotel on the edge of the town centre.Parking on site.Lovely big bathroom with plenty of towels and a great shower. Tastefully decorated.No bar on site but a fabulous bar across the courtyard working in liaison with the hotel. We stayed one night on our journey down to our Italian home and immediately rebooked for the stopover on the way back to England."

"This was our second stay at La Nuova Rotaia. We returned because the hotel has an amazing staff and the train station is one half block away giving you very convenient access to Milano and most anywhere. The staff is very accommodating and the breakfast area is quiet and elegant."

"This hotel started indoor cleaning in the early morning. I have asked many times not to do the indoor cleaning in the morning, but I still knocked on the door early in the morning to wake me up. And it was extremely rude, not only woke me up in the morning, but also harassed me by opening the door with the key. These staff members are full of swear words and shameless hooligans. "Absolutely excellent service considering the price. Staff couldnt do enough for you. So helpful and friendly. We only slept in a room, but pillows were so comfy! Reception staff was helpful and so customer service orientated. Breakfast was fab, simple but so nice. I can definitely recommend this place as it has everything you need for your stay. Do not be put off by the price and location. It is nice and clean and as mentioned before staff is brilliant"

"Overall great stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable bed. Restaurant is open odd hours, and a bit of a walk into town to find food, so best to bring some packable food unless you’re prepared to to taxi. "
