"Well.. it’s a “ Airbnb” type property. So the apartments are owned. The place itself is small but nice, the area is beautiful and safe, you can walk to the beach, awesome pools, one on the roof next to a sauna, and a huge one on the ground floor, breakfast is included and adequate. Staff is friendly and courteous! BUT people were remodeling an apartment right below us, so there was loud drilling and hammering at 8 AM. They truly need to exterminate the area. Our air conditioner did not work with the remote control. I called and had someone come and look at it. It worked one time and then not again. "We booked the Amora Hotel just a few days before our stay. The room was spacious and clean for our family of four we only wish we had an ocean view but unfortunately all those rooms were booked due to our late booking. The pool is heated. The staff was great. Breakfast was included and was one of the best we've had in Brazil. The ocean water in front of the hotel is more for surfing than for swimming. "The hotel was located within a five minute walk from Maresias Beach. The area was quiet during the off season but nice. The staff weren't rude but also not very helpful. Our bathroom light was very finicky, it would only work when it wanted to, which was twice. They came to replace the bulb but it still wasn't working properly afterwards. Overall though, the hotel grounds are quite nice. The rooms could definitely use a better layout and the floors needed cleaning. It was definitely not a bad...

"The first room we were given was on the first floor, right beside the check-in counter. It was noisy, the room was small and the view, out the window, was of a storage area. When we requested a new room, we were told there would be an extra charge...for the view! No elevator on the premisis, and we had to carry our own luggage upstairs. The advertised 2 pools...both were more the size of hot tubs rather than pools and the condition and cleanliness was rather scarry. I will definitely not...
