"The remoteness and gorgeous scenery made this a special stay. The 165 steep steps up the hill were totally worth it!! This is the rainy season and you’re really in nature so it shouldn’t be a surprise but there were lots of dead and living ants so if you’re squeamish about ants, just be warned. "A nice hotel in a big park simple 70th style but very OK for the price. Location is a 10min wallk to the park/hotel entrance at the main road then a 20 min walk along that main road to the "Golden Triangle". Ask for the free shullte to and from hotel at park entrance. Hall of Opium is also there (highly recommended) that is an advantage."

"Amazing property! Located right on the Mekong River with a river view, the location could not be beat! It was obvious the hotel was barely booked (low season) and we asked for an upgrade, room with a river view. Ours looked out on another cottage and they said yes for an extra charge. They could have easily given us another room as they were so under booked and it would have been a nice gesture. Anyway we said no thank you as it was only one night.
