"We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. "Lovely staff and quick check in when we arrived. The room was spacious and clean, however, the bathroom could have been cleaner. Run down looking and it was obvious it had not been cleaned properly, hairs on the floor and streak marks on the bath. Had dinner in the hotel that evening, the food was lovely, but we were asked to leave before our time was up as they wanted then table (we were told that we would have one hour , forty five minutes). "What a terrific stay at the Coach House. The grounds are beautiful, the room spacious and comfortable, and the host is completely charming. I wish we had booked a few more nights there. It's just far enough out of the city to be quiet and tranquil. Breakfast was delicious and filling and I must admit they had the best eggs we had on the trip. I don't know how Des made it happen but a herd of cows were our wake up 'call'. It doesn't get any better than that."
