We left at 6am because we couldn’t stand the cold."

"I stayed here recently on a short break in Lincoln. It’s well located in a quiet area very near the castle. The staff were absolutely lovely - friendly and helpful. Stokes cafe and a great tapas restaurant are just across the courtyard and there’s a large pay and display car park behind the hotel if you drive. "Staed one night. Greeted at reception by a lovely lady. Very informative and friendly. Room 14 was a bit dated and tired. Bed not that comfortable but huge ! Pillows ok but one too little and 2 too much. Did not sleep well. Could hear every noise from people next door. Paintwork throughout hotel could do with a refresh. Carpets very worn in places. Service and food in restaurant was very good even though they were busy."
