"Very comfy bed , quiet , nice leisure centre with excellent facilities that you can use for free during your stay Spacious and quiet room Room service food was very nice (sandwiche/fries/salad Although quite expensive totalling £19 I can't really fault the hotel in any way Only thing I would say is that I was told I could use the pool until 6pm when I arrived only to be told it was closing at 5 40 which was disappointing. But other than that I have no negatives to mention "

"Room 10 - right by the office. Handy for car park to rear. Quite noisy when the office is busy. When I arrived the guy on the desk said 3 nights for 3 people (I corrected him - 2 nights for 1 person) I was then shown to a single room which I assume he hadn’t planned to give me. He quickly removed what appeared to be used towels from the bathroom and replaced them. "Wonderful very old building with very helpful friendly staff. A building this old can’t be in perfect condition but they do their best. Very helpful with food when we were a little late arriving."

"Was a bit confused to get the keys from the pub but eventually we get it sorted quickly. Staff was very friendly and room was perfect for our needs. Car park was opposite the room so could even keep an eye on my car overnight. Parking was free on the weekend."
