"I had stayed there 35 years ago. I was surprised the price was so low when I booked it when we arrived and saw that nothing had been maintained or updated since my last visit. It was so bad it was comical. I was chicken to go in the pool because it was so dark in that area at night & they had just had a two day event that resulted in obvious cleanliness issues. "The Trainmasters Inn was a delightful discovery. We were looking for a place about midway on our journey from Maine to NYC and discovered it on Expedia in a search specifically for a B&B. We both enjoy trains and decided to try it. Although we didn't ever see our hosts, we were in constant communication via text.
