"This family owned hotel is very nice. The room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning. They even picked me up from the airport and held my bags the entire next day. I would highly recommend."

"It is lovely, peaceful place with a wonderful view, surrounded by trees with hummingbirds. The food is fresh, homemade, and very tasty. The managers are beyond wonderful and if i could give them more than 5 stars, i would. If you are looking for a resort, this is not it - which makes it so unique and special."

"Another good experience. It was my second time going to the beach lodge. Highly enjoyed the view of the beach, the food was very good. 10/10 chef. The staff were very kind to us. We accidentally showed up after hours and there was no hassle. We dealt with the payment the next morning because we checked in too late. We had steak and bake and shark (for lunch on one day and for breakfast the next). It was to die for. You have to walk alot in this area or else you probably wont get to the beach....

"- Room had to be changed 3 times. - Bed linens were stained. - Front desk clerk seemed annoyed when asked to change rooms - said there were no housekeeping on duty. - Bathroom towels were all mismatched in color as well as heavily stained. - Vanity drawers contained a spider and cobwebs. - Room did not even have a complimentary coffeemaker or anything to make a cup of tea in the morning. - Fridge in the room was filthy. - Curtains in room was not opaque and allowed light through. - Bed moved...
