False advertising and I was not given the room that I thought I paid for. Before, I detail the negatives, I must say that the staff member on duty at the time of check in really tried her best to accommodate us and was very pleasant and even apologetic for us not getting what we thought we paid for. The kitchen staff at breakfast were also pleasant and it was good.
On the other hand, this place needs a TOTAL overhaul. Firstly, no one contacted us when the booking was made and we had to call the day before with the receptionist having no record or clue of our reservation. Then the worst was the room pictures online did not align with what is presented as the Classic Studio Suite - which I suspect we did not get even though I specifically selected that room online. However, by the time we checked in it was too late to press for a refund and find somewhere else to stay. So after much back and forth, we just settled for the closest option in terms of rooms which had no kitchenette, cutlery nothing. We had to go back with all the stuff we came with to prepare.
Secondly the place was dirtyyy....leaves in the corridors, old mats in the walkway, cigarette stubs all over, there was an overflowing bin in the area outside of the pool...the list goes on.
Lastly, this just does not seem worth the price being charged. Although it may be cheaper than some nearby places, the standard is disappointing. They need to take some more interest in up keeping this place.
