"we finally got a room with patio doors looking onto the countryside. even though it was not the room we had seen on the website. unfortunately a customer parked his large work van across the doors and could not be found to move it. spoiled the whole feeling of the room. our room the super deluxe double? could do with a bit of a update."

"This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. "

"Lovely hotel/lodgings. Beautiful bathroom! Nice and warm room. Cosy fire at the bar which was nice and cosy . Tastefully decorated. The food looked gorgeous as it was taken past us going to the restaurant, and we will eat here next time. ***Big shout out to Phoebe, our breakfast waitress. The breakfast chef didn't show up and until the replacement chef came, she was run off her feet supplying us all with toast and tea and coffee etc. She was fabulous and super friendly *** Downside -:the bar...

"Had a good stay here together with a nice meal. Having an appointent in the area and limited transport, I was able to return for a short while after check-out time to freshen-up. "

"Lovely people and delicious food. Bar was very friendly. Spacious room (#5) and big and comfortable bed. No internet in bedroom (think it was faulty as it showed a signal) but OK in bar. Water pressure in room #5 very poor but clean a pleasant bathroom. No mobile service but that is obviously not The Maypole’s fault!"

"With so much to do and see in the Yorkshire dales, the Plough Inn is the perfect location. Very friendly and helpful staff escorting us to the room and making sure we were comfortable. Friendly bar staff providing a good selection of wines, beers and spirits at sensible prices. The restaurant menu is perfect. Simple and straightforward choice and the food is the same, just perfect."
