"Overall excellent two night stay. Check in was quick and easy with a pleasant welcome. Room was spacious with huge 7ft bed and great facilities including a nespresso coffee machine. Even though the room overlooked the main road it wasn't an issue at all with hardly any traffic through the night. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and had breakfast both mornings and food, drink and service were all excellent, plus the restaurant itself is a lovely environmemt. "The place was very simple and easy to find, the key/cardless check in was great, directions to the room were also good. The room itself was very nice and looked the exact same as the photos online. However I would just like to highlight a few points that I was not very happy with. The cleanliness of the bathroom area was not up to a great standard. There were a few hairs in the bathtub, discoloured limescale surrounding the bottom of the tub, alongside a tap that would not stop dripping...

"Sandy balls is a beautiful place to stay, our caravan was excellent and situated in amongst tall trees. There are lots of lovely walks in and around Sandy balls so we didn’t have to use the car.
