"Great location to the event venue. The train station is 10 minute walk, it’s ok even with a heavy suitcase. Very close to restaurants, shops etc. The bar is lovely, my only complaint is the Sunday Roast not available after 5pm, this was not advertised resulting in many disappointed people after a busy day at the event. The breakfast was good too"

"When we arrived we were given room 12 but upon opening the door it was filled with builders rubbish. We then waited for a while and the manger came to see us saying he only had 1 other room but it has no hot water. He said we could use the spa for free and was very helpful and kind. He said he will re fund half our money back which I’m not sure how this happens as I still havent had this. If I get my money back I would definitely come again and we did have a really nice time "

"Loved the fact the dog was very welcome everywhere. Room was new/renovated in the annex at the back - warm, quiet & car was outside. Would’ve liked a coat hook near the bedroom door tho for 1 coat / dog lead Food was great ! Staff very friendly& helpful "

"Enjoyed our overnight stay. Staff were great and breakfast was lovely. Room very clean and newly decorated and was set in a block in the courtyard at the rear of the Inn. Very happy with the stay, and would definitely stay again if we're in the area. "

"This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. "

"Only here for on night as a solo traveller, but I couldn't be more happy with my choice. Daniel in reception was very welcoming and personable. I "only" had a single room, but the bed was super comfy, the bathroom spotless and the room at just the right temperature. Breakfast was included, and whilst I chose a small one, there was plenty of choices - all prepared to order"

"We stayed here as a couple but also as part of a larger family group, including my niece and nephew (12 and 8 respectively). Our room was the Illingworth room. It was huge, facing out across the road to the lovely old church. Road noise was minimal and the bed extremely comfy with good pillows which were not too soft, perfect for us. We slept well. En suite was well laid out and tastefully decorated. A few hangers were on a rail for our clothes and a hairdryer, iron and ironing board were also...

"Wonderful and charming hotel directly opposite Ripon Cathedral. Friendly and helpful staff were there to see us to our room. Breakfast, what can I say… Wow!! Amazing tasting menu experience that ticked all the boxes. Staff were exceptional. Very Highly recommended! Looking forward to returning soon. "
