"Fascinating concept - i.e. staying in a cave - but the cave space wasn't much different from a country cottage once furnished with old furniture, lighting etc. Our living room was adequate, but the bathroom shower cubicle was in bbad condition. The bedroom (deeper into the cave) was delightful to look at, but the mattress and pillows were hard. Perhaps this place would be a lot better at the start of the season?"

"Great experience staying in a ‘cave’ house. Very clean and cosy. Beautiful setting. The owners weren’t on site much (but can be phoned and respond quickly) so as long as you’re fairly self sufficient its not a problem. Best to bring your own food. Really looking forward to our arab bath booking but the hotel cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, which was a shame. Definitely need own transport. Overall a great experience. "

"A very spacious apartment built in to the hillside with nice grounds and views over the Sierra Nevada. Our host, Manuel was very helpful and passionate about the local area and treated us to a guided tour,as well as bringing us fresh churros for breakfast. Our overall experience was superb. "

"La cueva contratada ni la vi pues nos derivaron a otra cueva que estaba a 5 km de la contratada. Sin avisar ni nada... No tuve más remedio que aceptar la cueva que el señor buscó como alternativa pues era tarde y no podía dejar a mi familia en la calle. Nunca me había pasado nada igual, tengan cuidado y vigilen la plataforma con la que realizan la reserva para que no les pase lo mismo... Según el propietario el problema es que desde hace mas de un mes rompió las relaciones con esta plataforma y...

"La Tala is lovely and very different. What I must comment is the difficulty in finding the place. The address given is far from adequate and directions are essential unless you are a local (and even some of those couldn't tell us where it was or how to find it!). My recommendation would be; head for Guadix Cathedral, then take the Ave. de Buenos Aires to the Motorway for Murcia. Stay on the motorway for only 1 km (approx) and on the right you will see a large 'Jamones' outlet. There is a small...
